About GSA Auctions

At GSA Auctions, we sell property that the Federal Government has purchased, used, and no longer needs.

What kind of property can I find?

The US Federal Government owns and disposes of more property than any other entity in the world. Here are some examples of items that we sell:

  • Farm and construction equipment
  • Aircraft
  • Boats
  • Cars, vans, and trucks
  • Computers
  • Mobile homes
  • Coins, china, crystal, and rugs
  • Jewelry and collectibles
  • Medical equipment
  • Generators
  • Furniture
  • Exercise equipment
  • Tools
  • Real estate

All property on the GSA Auctions website is used, some lightly, some heavily. Some property may be heavily worn. GSA does not guarantee the condition of the sale items.

We encourage you, the customer, to inspect property to learn of any deficiencies that may not be included in the description. GSA is not responsible for deficiencies identified after the award.

Where does my money go?

GSAAuctions is a Federal Government website, and therefore does not operate for profit. GSAAuctions returns all proceeds (beyond the cost of sale) to Federal Agencies and the Treasury.
